THE BIDO LITO! SOCIAL IN PICTURES

The monthly Bido Lito! Social rolled into Camp and Furnace in June to once again showcase a bill of the finest acts Merseyside has to offer. For this edition we picked three of the best (and loudest) exponents of garage rock currently doing the rounds. Headlining, were the mighty OHMNS who put on a beautifully chaotic set of their riotious punk rock. The four piece swelled to something like a 10-piece by the last track when they were joined on stage by members of support band JO MARY as well as various other gig goers and friends from Liverpool music fraternity.

Jo Mary’s opening set proceedings off in the right vein with shirtless abandon and some Velvets-esque psych jams, ending appropriately with a cover of Sister Ray. QUEEN ZEE & THE SASSTONES also did not disappoint with a quaking run-through of their unique blend of pop punk anthems.

The Bido Lito! Social launches each new issue of the magazine hot off the press and takes place in a variety of our favourite city venues. Bido Lito! members get free admission to the gigs – find out what else they get here.

The next Bido Lito! Social take place at the Shipping Forecast with guests The Fernweh, Gintis and Hannah’s Little Sister. Find out more here.
