Three Merseyrail Sound Station artists are heading to London to play a special show as part of the artist development programme.
EYESORE & THE JINX, BEIJA FLO and PODGE will all be playing Stoke Newington venue The Waiting Room on Friday 4th October in partnership with promotion company Eat Your Own Ears and Liverpool Band Vans.
Eyesore & The Jinx, who took part in the first semester of Sound Station, have had a productive year with two well-received singles under their belts and a jaunt to Russia this summer as of a cultural exchange.
Eggy Records’ Beija Flo is readying a slew of activity planned for later in the year with a single following up the gorgeous Mary around the time of the London showcase. Wirral-based Podge has recently been picked as a LIMF Academy Most Ready artist and shared his latest track Twintails.
Merseyrail Sound Station takes artists from the region through a series of development sessions which hone their songwriting skills, connects them to industry professionals and allows them to collaborate with their peers across various genres. The call for artists to take part in the next semester goes out on Thursday 22nd August.
