SKELETON COAST FESTIVAL have announced the Wirral’s historic Leasowe Castle as this year’s venue. The festival was launched in 2016 by THE CORAL and their label Skeleton Key Records, and has since gained a reputation as one of the UK’s most celebrated boutique festivals. Leasowe Castle, with its two halls and chapel, is an appropriately spooky setting to celebrate the festival’s third year.
Headlining this year’s festival are THE CORAL and TIM BURGESS & THE ANYTIME MINUTES. The Coral will take over the Skeleton Coast stage, where they will launch their eighth album, Move Through The Dawn. They’ll be supported by Tim Burgess’s latest project.
Other confirmed acts for the Skeleton Coast stage include Wirral rock and roll trio THE MYSTERINES and Birmingham-based CUT GLASS KING. Over in the chapel, the Tim Peaks Stage will showcase local acts such as British folk and psychedelia band THE FERNWEH and singer/songwriter MARVIN POWELL.
The festival will take place on the 1st September 2018.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 10th May at 9am via Skiddle. To purchase an accommodation and ticket package, call Leasowe Castle Hotel directly.
