The newest addition to Bold Street’s mouth-watering foodie offer now has a soundtrack to match it’s impeccably tasty menu. Crate-digging collective of DJs and promoter Stepping Tiger has put together a heady concoction of tasty sonic morsels to accompany patrons’ lunchtime experience at the Indian street food mecca BUNDOBUST. Stirring in a scrumptious selection of UK jazz, hip hop and marinating it with some succulent soul, the STEPPING TIGER PRESENTS TOO MUCH SPICY is the perfect accompaniment to Bundobust’s lunchtime offer.
You can hear the mix in the first floor eatery while you sit down to your tarka dhal and Bundo chaat (two dishes for seven and half quid, by the way!). The delectable desi selection will go down perfectly to the tones of PETE BEARDSWORTH, ZARA MACFARLANE, SKINNY PELEMBE and more.
As well the new kids on the block collaborate with a range of food and drink friends such as Maray and The Merchant, they have also reached out to our vibrant muso community.
Stepping Tiger DJs play regularly around the region and also host a new music night once a month at Alexander’s, Chester. Previous guests include the fantastic Mr Pelembe as well as YAZMIN LACEY, THE COLOURS THAT RISE and STEAM DOWN bringing a beautiful blend live jazz, soul and afrobeat while resident DJS BEN THE ROMAN and MARK V play an eclectic cuts from around the world.
Check out the Too Much Spicy Mix in Bundobust throughout July.
