Our February 2017 issue covers the wealth of gigs that have littered Liverpool over the past month. Yetunde Adebiyi was on hand to shoot UPSTAIRS WITH MALL GRAB at Buyers Club, as well as heading north to the Invisible Wind Factory for Abandon Silence’s ECHOES: DIMENSIONS.
Darren Aston was faced with the task of shooting CLUB.THE.MAMMOTH.‘s all-dayer at Arts Club, flitting between THE FALL with their goblinesque antagonist Mark E Smith, art punks PINK KINK, and noise rockers HOOKWORMS. Stuart Moulding was a busy bee too, shooting the masterful C DUNCAN at the O2 Academy, as well as Leeds post-punk outfit MENACE BEACH at The Magnet.
Elsewhere, the experimental collaboration between NIK COLK VOID and KLARA LEWIS at the Philharmonic Music Room, was captured by Mike Sheerin, while Keith Ainsworth headed to Love Lane to capture the hospital environment of REASSEMBLED, SLIGHTLY ASKEW‘s art-experiment.
Finally, Roger Sinek captured a happening at the Tate in form of South London musician KLEIN, 70s influenced chug-rockers HIDDEN CHARMS were shot by Paul McCoy, and the carnage that CABBAGE brought to EBGBs was captured by Michael Kirkham.
