THE WICKED WHISPERS
The Wicked Whispers have become one of Liverpool's most popular new bands to emerge in some time. After spending most of their first year together playing an endless amount of hit and run shows around the UK, the band played shows supporting Echo and the Bunnymen and The Lightning Seeds on their tours as well as organising their popular hometown events called ‘The Butterfly’s Ball and the Grasshoppers Feast’. Led by local singer/songwriter Mike Murphy, The Wicked Whispers claim to take influence from folk and psychedelia movements of the late 1960’s but clearly add a dark modern edge.
Following the release of last years sell out debut EP ‘The Dark Delights of the Wicked Whispers’ (which has since become a collectable relic amongst fans) the bands loyal fanbase across UK and Europe has continued to grow. The track ‘Amanda Lavender’ in particular is a fan favourite accompanied by a superb video directed by Liverpool photographer and film-maker Mark McNulty.
The band release their debut single ‘Dandelion eyes’ on August 27th 2012 and to coincide have announced a series of intimate of UK dates.

THE SUNDOWNERS
The Sundowners are a five piece from The Wirral. They’re cooking up a musical melting pot of musical influences including Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Byrds and Tom Petty. They’re taking their time, writing real songs, putting on great gigs and capturing an audience all around the country. They’ve supported Cats Eyes in London, Faris loved them and Weller is into them too. There’s something otherworldly about them. Great tunes Great haircuts, what more do you need.

EDGAR SUMMERTYME
(taken from NME's 9/10 review)
In a parallel universe, Edgar ‘Summertyme’ Jones is as revered as Messrs Marr, Weller and Gallagher, N – his three most vocal fans. Jones has been making music since the early ’90s, when he spearheaded Liverpool’s great nearly band The Stairs, and his latest opus is his most triumphant since 2005’s ‘Soothing Music For Stray Cats’, which itself is one of the last decade’s finest albums. It breathes life: from the gloriously rhythmic exoticism of ‘On And On’ (owing much to the great Latin label, Fania Records), to ‘I Would Do Anything’, which is the tastiest song Amy Winehouse never wrote. Another heroic masterpiece from rock’s lost golden boy, then.
