This month’s installment sees local matheletes, Vasco Da Gama, headline the night for a line-up that hustles and bustles with acts from the intricate reaches of alt. rock to the high-spritied antics of indie-pop. Instillation art from Mr Wolf, live projections from Milk Presents & DJ sets from Bombarda Collective will all cohere to fabricate an unforgettable experience.

VASCO DA GAMA:

Vasco’s music recounts the visceral eclecticness of The Mars Volta, whilst smoothing the edges with groove-indulged hooks. They are an act that strives on the unconventional; just as soon as a melody starts to get predictable their music slaps you back into obscurity courtesy of a jilted rhythm or howling vocal line.

MUTO LEO:

Math-rock intricacy at its prime; Muto Leo’s songs are riddled with fragmented rhythms and wonderfully complex instrumentation, all cumulating in a cohesive collage of sound that echoes astoundingly atmospheric sentiments.

MARRIED TO THE SEA:

These indie-pop lionhearts are experts in pulling both the heart and shoe-strings of their audiences, as they find the perfect melange of emotional hymns and alluring melodies. Harking back to the warming nostalgia of acts like Death Cab, they're a breath of fresh air in the contemporary music scene.

BEACH SKULLS:

Recent Merseyrail Unsigned award winners, Beach Skulls, are an immersive Surf-beat duo that sway between the chaos of distortion and the captivating nature of reverb. It's not surprise that they're making big waves on the Mersey shore.
