Voted Best World Music Guitar Player by Guitar Player Magazine readers, the French-Algerian guitarist, singer and composer studied piano from the age of 7 and at 11 taught himself guitar. Influenced in those early days by the folk revival blooming in 60s Britain, France and North America, Bensusan soon began to explore his own diverse musical heritage, this passion for such diverse musical influences, combined with his astonishing technical talent have made him into an exceptional artist.
What is After 8?
After Eight is the Liverpool Philharmonic’s popular series of select folk, roots, and unplugged gigs in the Rodewald Suite, a delightfully intimate space with its own entrance in Sugnall Street. With informal cabaret seating, an in-house bar, rooftop terrace and the opportunity to meet the artists and other guests after the performance, After 8 shows are a unique experience and a great night out.
Doors open at 8pm, artist will start performance at approximately 8:30pm.
