Don your favourite intergalactic space outfit as THE PEOPLE'S BALEARIC DISCO, EVOL & DISCOTECA POCA have joined forces to bring one incredible evening of Cosmic Disco to the City of Liverpool.

We are absolutely ecstatic to present to you Norway’s Hans-Peter Lindstrom, who will be making a rare live performance at the Kazimier on Saturday 27th October in support of his fantactic cosmis disco album, Smalhans, which is out 5 November.

Smalhans is the fourth solo album by Norwegian producer Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, and his second album to come out in 2012. Earlier this year he released Six Cups of Rebel, which was a very personal album for Lindstrøm and showed his more experimental side. Now, this forthcoming record, out November 5th on Smalltown Supersound / Feedelity, finds Lindstrøm back on the dance floor with six monumental tracks – classic Lindstrøm style.

Smalhans was mixed by his friend Todd Terje, who has also made extended edits which will be released as 12”s. The album title is an old Norwegian word and means scarcity or simply poverty. Each track on the album is titled after a traditional Norwegian meal.

Raised on country and western music in the outskirts of the Norwegian oil town Stavanger, Hans-Peter Lindstrøm now lives in Oslo where he is making contemporary disco and running his Feedelity label.

Lindstrom has helped to put Norway on the 21st Century disco map with a string of cosmic releases on his self-run Feedelity imprint, as well as floor-burning remixes for LCD Soundsystem and Franz Ferdinand. His ‘I Feel Space’ cut has become a timeless underground anthem, making its way into DJ boxes right across the spectrum . His distinctive brand of freaky-deaky funk, disco, cosmic boogie and otherworldly house and techno sounds has rocked clubs and festivals in the four corners of the globe.

Lindstrom today enjoys a cult-like status within dance music circles, Most of all, this is a unique opportunity to see one of contemporary dance music’s leading lights live on the Kazimier stage. An unforgettable night is promised.
