A classical concert with a unique blend of Carnatic, Hindustani and Western music traditions. Playing together for the very first time, the Carnatic violin of Lalgudi GJR Krishnan is combined with the Hindustani sitar of Gaurav Mazumdar, along with the Piano, an instrument rarely heard in Indian music, featuring Anil Srinivasan. Each musician is an expert in his field, having mastered their chosen style, all while advancing the traditional modes of collaboration through experimentation and performance. All three musicians will be accompanied by highly acclaimed tabla maestro Kousic Sen.
