The VYP presents...
A 'School of Rock' band night, featuring the best in new and up-and-coming talent from Merseyside and showcasing the lastest and best bands from our 2012 summer term 'School of Rock' workshops run by the Village Youth Project, Upton, Wirral. This promises to be a night full to the brim with talent and entertainment.
Esco Williams - Toxteth's rising soul star was brought up on a diet of Marvin Gaye and Sonic the Hedgehog - now with MTV accolades and a GIT Award nomination uder his belt Esco will be a fantastic finish to the first of our bands nights.
Tourist Information - Headline material - this rock/pop band formed over 2 years ago from the 'School or Rock' workshops and is now gaining momentum in the Liverpool scene.
23 Fake Street - An up-and-coming indie band from the Wirral. Finalists in the Wirral Battle of the Bands 2012.
>> Fast Forward - Finalists in Wirral Youth Talent 2012.
TheTutors - These are the professionals - A band made up from our talented 'School of Rock' tutors.
Stunning acoustic sets from: Esme Higgins + Anna Bekah Kydd
Plus the finest selection of 'School or Rock' bands from the 2012 summer term.
All proceeds help fund the Village Youth Project and its 'School of Rock'.
