A storming annoucement this one, as the first blasts of Wave Machine's second album Pollen are still ricocheting about our brains. The returning heroes played to a baying crowd at the same venue in October purely off the back of the first single to come from Pollen - Ill Fit - so this show in lieu of the new funk-tastic sounds that make up their sophomore LP will no doubt be a wild one.

Harvest Sun have snared the quintet for this massive celebration in front of their loyal army of fans, all intrigued by the new direction taken after the slow-burning success of debut album Wave If You're Really There. The Guardian recently had these glowing words to say about the gloriously disco-friendly Ill Fit:

"Produced by Lexxx (Gwilym Gold, Wild Beasts), the glitchy, Prince-esque Ill Fit was, according to the band's frontman Tim Bruzon, influenced by 'the fuzzy moment right before you make a decision to do something right or wrong, justifiable or unjustifiable,' and it does indeed seem infused with a strange kind of tension, sexual or otherwise."
