Bido Lito!

Bido Lito! is the music magazine for a new Liverpool. Our musical legacy and history in this city is rightly lauded and celebrated, however Bido Lito! is for Merseyside’s music makers and revelers of today. In June 2010 we launched our physical magazine, a pink-paged old-school inky and the publication has been produced every month since. In October 2011 we launched this website, a platform to compliment and accentuate the work of our magazine.  

Both formats provide a hub for the Liverpool music scene. Not only is the regional music community and industry our subject, they are also our readership, making Bido Lito!’s pages both a mirror and a looking glass into modern music making in Liverpool.

The physical magazine provides a blend of extended features and exposé on emerging Liverpool artists, regional music news, extensive reviews and an insight into the clubs, venues, promoters, DJs, shops and practitioners who make up the scene. This is presented alongside innovative illustration, photography and graphic design. Our website intends to provide video, photographic and audio content to accompany and compliment the magazine, aloongside feature interviews with artists ahead of shows in the city and the Bido Lito! Gig Guide, a key central resource for Liverpool's music community.  

In May 2011, Bido Lito! also published a daily magazine during the Liverpool Sound City Festival. We will be producing the publication for the festival again in 2012.
