Newcastle based sextet LANTERNS ON THE LAKE treated the Liverpool crowd to a intimate performance in Static Gallery, with support from TJ & Murphy and The Big House. Using a variety of instruments such as a guitar, violin, mandolin, piano, synths and glockenspiels, Lanterns On The Lake performed an array of folkily ambient songs dominated by the sigh-inducing vocals of Hazel Wilde, leaving the audience in awe.
